Delete your account and data
You can have your login deleted, or the whole company account closed and its data removed. Nothing here needs the app installed, and you do not have to be signed in to ask.

Which one are you?
- You use an account your employer opened: Your login belongs to their account. Ask whoever runs it — an administrator there can remove your login in a moment, from Users in the panel. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will pass it on.
- You run the company account: Write to us and we will close the whole account: every login in it, the vehicles, the trackers and the history.
How to ask us
Send an email to [email protected] from the address the account uses, and tell us:
- the name of the company the account belongs to;
- whether you want only your own login removed, or the whole account closed;
- a mobile number we can use to check it really is you.
We ask from the account’s own email address because deletion cannot be undone, and we will not take somebody’s word for it that an account should disappear. If we cannot tell that the request is genuine, we will ask you for more before doing anything.
What happens then
- We confirm the request within 3 working days.
- The account is switched off at once, so nobody can sign in while we work through it.
- Everything listed below is deleted within 30 days.
- We write to you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your name, email address, username, mobile number and password.
- Your notification tokens, so no phone receives anything further.
- For a whole account: its vehicles, drivers, geofences, trackers and their position history, alerts, reports, fuel and inspection entries, and any photographs taken with them.
- Your messages to support.
What is kept, and why
A few things cannot go straight away, and it is better to say so than to promise otherwise:
- Invoices and payment records: kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. They name the company and the amount, not vehicle positions.
- The record of engine stops and billing changes: kept as a safety and accounting record. It shows that an action happened and who took it.
- Backups: deleted data stays in backups for a short while until those backups age out. It is not used for anything in the meantime.
- Website visit statistics: these were never linked to you — your IP address is stored only as a one-way hash — so there is nothing in them to find and remove.
If you only want to stop notifications
You do not need to delete anything. Turn notifications off for GPSAero in your phone’s settings, or sign out of the app, and the phone stops receiving them.
