FMB920

Wired into the vehicle

The one most fleets start with: small, wired, 2G, with Bluetooth for a fuel or temperature sensor and an input for ignition.

Teltonika sends data in its own binary protocol over TCP, with the records buffered on the device when the network drops and sent again later, so a van in a basement car park does not leave a hole in its history. The FMB series covers most cars and vans; the FMC series adds 4G; the TMT250 is a battery tracker for trailers and containers.

Questions

Does Aero Global Limited support the FMB920?
Yes. The FMB920 is part of the Teltonika family and speaks the teltonika protocol, which the platform accepts on port 5027 at device.gpsaero.com.
How do I connect a FMB920?
Add the tracker in the panel with its IMEI, then set the server address and port 5027 on the device. It appears on the map at its next report - nothing else inside the tracker is changed.
Can I move a FMB920 from another platform?
Yes. Only the server address changes; the SIM, the IMEI and the wiring stay exactly as they are, so no vehicle has to be visited.

Try it with your FMB920

Point one device at the server and watch it on the map before you move anything else.
