Castel GPS tracking software

Chinese trackers built for commercial vehicles and driver behaviour.

Castel devices are often specified for buses and delivery fleets, with driver behaviour scoring - harsh braking, sharp cornering, speeding - reported from the device rather than worked out afterwards.

Connect a Castel tracker

Server
device.gpsaero.com
Port
5086
Protocol
castel (TCP)

Add the tracker in the panel with its IMEI, set the address above on the device, and it appears on the map at its next report. Nothing else inside the tracker is changed, so it keeps doing whatever it did before.

Models in this family

  • CC-831
  • CC-668
  • MPIP-618

Another model from the same maker will almost always speak the same protocol and connect the same way. If yours is not listed, ask us and we will check it.

Questions

Does Aero Global Limited support Castel?
Yes. Castel trackers (CC-831, CC-668, MPIP-618 and others in the family) connect using the castel protocol and are supported today.
Which port does a Castel tracker use?
Port 5086 over TCP, at device.gpsaero.com. Set that address and port on the tracker and it will appear on the map as soon as it reports.
Can I keep my Castel trackers if I change platform?
Yes. Nothing is changed inside the tracker except the server address it reports to, so the same hardware keeps working and no vehicle has to be visited.

Try it with your own Castel

Point one tracker at the server and watch it on the map before you move the rest. Nothing is changed on the vehicle.
