GlobalSat GPS tracking software

Taiwanese trackers with a long history in asset and personal tracking.

GlobalSat has made tracking hardware since the days of standalone GPS loggers. The TR range is mostly battery powered, for assets, boats and people rather than wired vehicle work.

Connect a GlobalSat tracker

Server
device.gpsaero.com
Port
5043
Protocol
globalsat (TCP)

Add the tracker in the panel with its IMEI, set the address above on the device, and it appears on the map at its next report. Nothing else inside the tracker is changed, so it keeps doing whatever it did before.

Models in this family

  • TR-600
  • TR-151
  • GTR-128
  • TR-203A

Another model from the same maker will almost always speak the same protocol and connect the same way. If yours is not listed, ask us and we will check it.

Questions

Does Aero Global Limited support GlobalSat?
Yes. GlobalSat trackers (TR-600, TR-151, GTR-128, TR-203A and others in the family) connect using the globalsat protocol and are supported today.
Which port does a GlobalSat tracker use?
Port 5043 over TCP, at device.gpsaero.com. Set that address and port on the tracker and it will appear on the map as soon as it reports.
Can I keep my GlobalSat trackers if I change platform?
Yes. Nothing is changed inside the tracker except the server address it reports to, so the same hardware keeps working and no vehicle has to be visited.

Try it with your own GlobalSat

Point one tracker at the server and watch it on the map before you move the rest. Nothing is changed on the vehicle.
